 The Pennsylvania State Police, Meadville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, continues their investigation into the Homicide of Danita Landers.

On May 27, 1999, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the body of a deceased black woman was discovered on the edge of a corn field of Phelps Road in Conneaut Township, Crawford County. The body was discovered naked, and evidence indicated that she was murdered elsewhere and then dumped in the field.

The deceased  has been identified as Danita Landers, 1 34-year-old black female, with short black hair, who stood 5' 2" tall and weighed approximately 159 pounds. Investigators have determined that Landers had been residing in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
