 The Pennsylvania State Police, Newport, Perry County, continues their investigation into the December 1993, Homicide of Lynne Marie Stansfield and Dale Gene Wolf.

This case remains unsolved and investigators believe that the public may hold the clues they need to solve it and bring the person to persons responsible for this crime to justice. 

On the morning of December 8, 1993, at approximately 1:00 a.m., authorities state that they received a report of a structure fire at 419 Linton Road, Duncannon, Perry County, Pennsylvania. After the fire was extinguished, the bodies of Lynn Marie Stansfield and Dale Wolf were discovered inside their residence.  The investigation revealed that the home had been set on fire in an attempt to conceal the homicides. The autopsy revealed that both victims had been shot to death.
