Case Facts: Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $ 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the
person or persons responsible for the murder of Carl Devalia.
Chester County Detectives, West Chester, PA., continue their investigation into the
homicide of Carl Devalia. On February 2, 1990, the 40 year old Devalia was reported
missing to authorities, after failing to return to his residence in the 300 block of West
Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. On September 13, 1993, the skeletal remains, positively
identified by dental records as Devalia, were discovered by hunters in a wooded area along
Misty Patch Road just off of West Chester Road. An Autopsy revealed that the cause of
death had been multiple stab wounds. Investigators believe that Devalia's death may have
been drug related.
