Unidentified White Male

Case Facts:

The Pennsylvania State Police, Bloomsburg, are asking for your assistance in helping them to identify skeletal remains discovered on November 2. 1995. The remains were found on an island, in the middle of the Susquehanna River, approximately 250 feet north of the Interstate 80 bridge, South Centre Township, Columbia County. A forensic examination was conducted and the remains were determined to be those of a White Male, approximately 15-20 years of age, who stood between 5 feet, 5 inches, and 5 feet, 8 inches tal1. A brown clump of hair was found at the scene; the individual had distinguishable dental work. The individual was wearing blue jeans, 34-waist, 32-inseam, a green "urban Equipment" Army type jacket with a hood (size XL), a "New York" V-neck baseball shirt and two pair of underwear.

The remains are believed to have been in the river from six months to one year prior to their discovery. The manner of death is unknown, but investigators state the cause of death is suspicious.
