PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNIDENTIFIED BANK ROBBER.
The Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon continue their investigation into several bank robberies that took place in Jackson Twp., Huntindon County, Pennsylvania.

The Kish branch is located in the Village of McAleys Fort, Jackson Twp., Huntingdon County, Pennsylvnania,  a small farming community about 10 miles south of State College on PA-26.  The first robbery took place on 03/26/04, a Friday evening at 6:57 pm.  Three minutes before the bank closed for the night.  The bank parking lot was filled with the over flow parking from the fire department bingo game across the road.  The suspect had to be buzzed into the bank and as soon as he walked through the door he pulled a ski mask over his face.  He brandished a large frame stainless pistol but didn’t threaten anyone directly.  He went directly to the vault and unloaded it and then took the money from the teller (2) drawers.  He left the bank and was not seen again.

The second robbery was on 06/04/04 on a Friday at 10:13 am, ten weeks after the first robbery.  He was again buzzed into the bank and this time had his face covered with a bandanna that had eye holes cut into it.  Same pistol, went to the vault again and then the tellers (2) drawers.  This time he was seen leaving the bank on foot but disappeared.  It seems that he went into a wooded area and made his way through the woods to farm fields near a local township maintenance shed and an adjoining church.  Some of his clothing was later found by a farmer.

The third robbery took place on 08/16/04, a Monday, at 8:45 am as the two tellers met at the bank to enter together.  08/16 is 10 weeks + 3 days from the last bank robbery if he had gone back on Friday it would again have been 10 weeks.  This time he was hiding at the base of some mature shrubs and could not have been easily seen.  One teller was standing at the door and as the second teller walked up to the first teller, the first teller heard some rustling noises.  The first teller looked in the direction of the noise and saw the suspect approaching, pistol in hand.  He then took the arm of the second teller who was facing away from him and turned that teller around.  When the teller realized what was going on the teller collapsed, unconscious to the ground and remained unconscious throughout the entire incident.  The suspect and the 1st teller dragged the 2nd teller into the building and the teller remained unconscious in the hallway of the bank.  The suspect took the 1st teller to the vault and forced the teller to open the vault.  The suspect emptied the vault contents into a cloth bag that he had brought along for this purpose.  It should be noted that the suspect was not wearing a mask during the third robbery but had a white ball cap with red trim or a red logo on it.  Sunglasses and several medium sized adhesive bandages (band aid type) on his face.  He was wearing a dark colored wind suit type jacket with light colored stripes on the long sleeves. The pants may have matched the jacket but didn’t have stripes.  He was also wearing sneakers.

The injured teller was transported to the J.C. Blair Hospital in Huntingdon via ambulance and was treated for injuries sustained in the fall.  The teller was released the following day.  A stranger had been seen in the area of the bank and the township maintenance shed riding a moped type,” quiet”, motorized bike.  There is no further vehicle information.
