The Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville
continue an investigation into a Theft, Forgery and Access Device fraud case
that began in October 2003. The incident began in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County when a credit card and personal information were stolen from the victim’s purse at an unknown location. The driver license and bank book were not removed from the purse; just the information they contained. The suspect attempted to use the stolen credit card at several different locations including Philadelphia, PA, Atlantic City, New Jersey and Bear, Delaware. Because a fraudulent Pennsylvania driver’s license was obtained using the victim’s information, the suspect was able withdrawal cash from the bank account. What You Can Do:
