 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF AN UNKNOWN PERSON OR PERSONS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR NUMEROUS THEFTS THAT HAVE OCCURRED IN MULTIPLE COUNTIES.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview continue to investigate a myriad of Thefts from commercial vehicles. These thefts are not just confined to the Centre County area, other counties include Blair, Huntingdon, Lycoming and Berks.

These thefts continue to occur, but the first incident dates back to December 2003; these thefts may be a state-wide problem involving the same individual(s). Investigators state that each theft has the same “MO”. The suspect(s) are hitting trucking companies and/or truck stops that are located along Pennsylvania's interstate highway system.

The equipment removed from these vehicles include tires, wheels and binder chains. Without consideration to the down-time each company suffers in each theft, the property value loss to date exceeds $115,000.
