 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNIDENTIFIED ROBBERY SUSPECT.
 

The Pennsylvania State Police at Butler continue their investigation into the March 19, 2003, Robbery at “The Red Apple Kwik-Fill” located at the intersection of SR-8 and Mercer Road in Center Township, Butler County.

State Police report at approximately 3:20 a.m., the unknown suspect entered the store with his hands in the sweatshirt pocket, implying that he had a gun. He ordered the clerk to open the register, the clerk complied. He then removed money from the drawer and fled in a southerly on foot. Surveillance video indicates that the actor was a younger White male. The video was not of sufficient quality to determine age. However, in interviewing the clerk, the suspect’s age was described as being in his 30’s, possibly 40’s and he may have a goatee.

Investigators state during the times that the suspect was in the store prior to the Robbery, at least two customers also visited the store. These customers may be able to provide important information regarding this crime. The customers were a male and a female that were driving a pick-up truck; they came into the store on or about 3:00 a.m., on March 19, 2003.
