SUSPECT #1 SUSPECT #2 White / Female The Bentleyville Police Department in Washington County Pennsylvania is investigating a Home Invasion, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary and Theft that occurred along James Street in the Borough of Bentleyville at approximately 4:30 p.m. on September 17, 2003. Investigators reported that 2-White females went to the front door of the home of an 89-year old female in the Borough. The victim thought it was her son but when she opened the door, Suspect #1 walked into the home and began to tell the victim that she knew her and that she had lived across the street. The suspect then lifted a bed sheet or blanket blocking the view to the front door, at which point Suspect #2 entered the residence and went directly to the bedroom. Suspect #1 held the victim down on a kitchen chair until Suspect #2 exited the bedroom. While in the bedroom Suspect #2 had pried open a cedar chest and removed a large sum of money which was contained in a safe and strong box that were also pried open. A witness stated that the 2-females fled the scene in a 4-door light colored blue/silver vehicle, possibly a Ford Taraus which had no plates on it. During the course of this investigation, it was learned
that as of the date of this crime, there had been 3-other attempted Home
Invasions in the area. The first took place in Rostraver Township,
Westmoreland County, the second in North Bethlehem Township, Washington
County, and the third in Bentleyville Borough in Washington County. What You Can Do:
