The Pennsylvania State Police at Clarion are continuing to seek the whereabouts of Sherry Lee Hoover for Theft by Deception. On December 28, 2002, Sherry Lee Hoover along with a co-defendant, who has since been apprehended, purchased several items from different business in Clarion County using personal checks on two separate incidents. Hoover then place a stop-payment on the checks and attempted to return some of the merchandise for cash. Once the businesses found out about the scam, the defendants fled the area. The last known address for Sherry Hoover was along Route 322 in Clarion, Clarion County Pennsylvania.
