Pennsylvania State Police DuBois are investigating several incidents that have occurred in the village of Munderf, Polk Township, Jefferson County, PA at the residence of a victim who is employed as a Wildlife Conservation Officer under the Pennsylvania Game Commission. At this time, it is unknown if the cases are related. The first incident occurred on Sunday, March 10, 2002. Unknown suspect(s) arrived at residence, and set fire to a barn which sits closest to the road. The damage was limited to the northeast corner of the barn. Damages were at $25,000. The fire was discovered by Penn Dot workers traveling through the area during the overnight hours. Debris and physical evidence collected at the scene by the Fire Marshall confirmed that the fire was intentionally set. On May 10th and into the early morning hours of May 11, 2002, the victims’ garage and Game Commission vehicle were spray painted with obscene language . His children’s trampoline in the yard was also slashed. Later, another harassment occurred. In between he dates of August 2 through August 4th, 2002, unknown suspects(s) spread roofing nails along the victim's driveway. On June 26, 2003, in between the hours of 1:30 AM and 1:45 AM, unknown suspect(s) set a fire, victims’ assigned Pennsylvania Game Commission 2000 Ford pickup vehicle. The blazes caused from the truck fire caught onto the garage, and additional attached garage. Paint was also sprayed on the garage. Estimated damage is at $38,000.00 Total. One connection through this investigation is obvious that the activity occurs during the overnight hours. They are all related to his job position with the Game Commission. What You Can Do:
