PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF EVELYN MARIE JAMES, AKA EVELYN BARRETT.

The Pennsylvania State Police at Philadelphia continue their search for Evelyn Marie James, AKA Evelyn Barrett, who is wanted for Escape.

In 1997, Evelyn James was found guilty of Possession with Intent to Deliver and Criminal Conspiracy by a jury of her peers in Blair County Pennsylvania.  She was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the State Correctional facility at Muncy.  In April 2002, she was accepted into a pre-release program and subsequently transferred to the Community Corrections Center in the City and County of Philadelphia.  James was to remain at the facility until paroled, transferred, or until the completion of her sentence.

On December 20 2002, Evelyn James had signed out of the Center; she was due back by 11:00 p.m.  Because of her failure to return, Escape charges were filed and she is now considered a fugitive from justice.

Her last known address was in the 2100 block of South Palmetto Avenue in South Daytona, Florida.
