 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE  OF THE PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HOMICIDE OF JOHN NEWMAN.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Belle Vernon continue their search for the person or persons responsible for the Homicide of 45-year old John Lynn Newman.

Investigators reported that on February 4, 2003, at approximately 6:50 a.m.,
Newman was discovered seated in his 1992 blue Oldsmobile sedan by his wife and 14-year old daughter.

The car was located along First Street at the intersection of Liberty Street in California Boro, Washington County. Newman was the victim of a single gunshot, which entered his left ear, severed the brain stem and lodged in the skull.

Newman was last seen at approximately 9:00 p.m., on the evening of February 3, 2003. His wife regarded him as a family man, who mostly stayed at home. His last known address was in the 100 block of Liberty Avenue in California Pennsylvania.
