Investigators state that Shaneyfelt was the ringleader of co-conspirators who traveled to Philadelphia to obtain a substantial amount of heroin, which was distributed in the Altoona area.

Shaneyfelt was also involved in a theft ring where he and others stole from numerous stores in Western Pennsylvania in order to finance their drug operation. He is a known Heroin addict with ties to the Altoona and Pittsburgh areas.
