and Rape
|
| PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HOME INVASION AND ATTACK OF A 36-YEAR OLD WOMAN. | |
| The Pennsylvania State Police at Stonington continue
to investigate a Home Invasion, Kidnapping and Rape that occurred on Thursday,
April 25, 2002, between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. in the Paxinos
area of Shamokin Township, Northumberland County Pennsylvania.
A suspect gained entrance into the victim’s residence by prying open a window. Once inside, he stole cash and a Hilfiger black leather purse. The suspect made his way to the victim’s bedroom where she was sleeping; she woke with the suspect on top of her. He blindfolded and bound her hands and feet. She was removed from her residence in her vehicle, then transferred to another vehicle, which was located nearby. The suspect then drove her to a remote location in the coal stripping area south of the Village of Burnside in Coal Township. She was removed from the vehicle and raped. After the assault, the victim convinced the suspect to let her go, which he did. Investigators state it should be noted that the suspect is possibly from
the Shamokin-Coal Township area, or is familiar with the region because
of his knowledge of the coal stripping locale where the Rape occurred.
He most likely operated a 4-wheel drive vehicle because of the rugged
terrain of the area. The victim could only state that her attacker was
a White male of average height and weight with a medium build and short
hair. What You Can Do:
