The Pennsylvania State Police at Media continue to investigate the July 23, 2002, Robbery of the Franklin Mint Credit Union, Riddle Memorial Hospital Branch, in Middletown Township Delaware County. Troopers advise that at 10:20 a.m., 2-Black males entered the Credit Union and demanded money. The first suspect was described as being approximately 6’ tall with a stocky build and was wearing a full face knit mask. He approached the sole teller and pointed a handgun at her demanding the money in her drawer. The second suspect (see photo and description above) stood in the manager’s office doorway pointing a gun at her; both suspects instructed the employees not to push any buttons. Both suspects fled on foot to the front of the hospital, where they were observed entering a white or light colored passenger car, which drove off towards US1. These two individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. Additional reward money is being offered by the Franklin Mint Credit
