 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO  THE ARREST OF ROBERT HENRY JONES WHO IS WANTED ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE.

ARMED WITH A .22 CALIBER SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL AND STOLEN SHOTGUN MAY BE SUICIDAL 

The Pennsylvania State Police at Kittanning are seeking the whereabouts of Robert Henry Jones, also known as Robert Henry Cobbs, for Attempted Homicide, Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault. 

Troopers report that at 2:30 A.M on Thursday, May 23, 2002, Jones kidnapped his estranged girlfriend, at gunpoint, from her apartment in the City of Pittsburgh. While on routine patrol, Pennsylvania State Troopers observed the victim's 2001 Hyundai along SR-28 in Harmar Township. As the troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, Jones pulled over onto Old Route-28 in Harmer Township and shot the victim once in the torso. The victim bailed out of her vehicle and Jones fled the scene in her stolen Hyundai traveling north. Prior to fleeing the scene, Jones was observed pointing the pistol at his head; the victim's vehicle was later recovered. 

Robert Jones last known address was in the 1100 block of Mellon Street in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.
