 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNIDENTIFIED PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HOMICIDE OF BENJAMIN JOSEPH AMATO.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Fern Ridge continues their investigation into the November 2001 Homicide of Benjamin Joseph Amato. 

Investigators reported that during the commission of a residential Burglary on Sundance Drive in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, an unknown person(s) encountered the victim. Benjamin Amato was struck several times with a blunt object and suffered fatal injuries to his head; he died at the scene. Amato's last seen whereabouts was at the CVS Pharmacy in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township on November 12, 2001, shortly after 8:00 P.M. He operated a 1999 red Ford F-250 with overhead fire-police emergency lights. State Police are encouraging anyone with information to contact Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.
