The
Pennsylvania State Police at Skippack continues their investigation into
(4) Armed Robberies, which they believe were committed by the same
individuals.
The first Robbery occurred on Friday, November 16, 2001 at approximately
9:00 P.M., at Young's Market in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery
County. The second occurred on Friday, December 7, 2001 at 9:20 P.M., at
the Strawberry Family Restaurant in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery
County. The other two occurred at video stores, one in Montgomery
Township, Montgomery County and the other in Richland Township, Bucks
County.
Investigators reported that two armed subjects entered the locations and
ordered the employees to the floor. One was armed with a sawed-off
shotgun, the other a silver colored automatic pistol. They proceeded to
duct tape the employee arms behind their backs and inquire about videos,
phones and money. In each case, the suspects entered the location near or
after closing. They may be operating a black or dark colored sport utility
vehicle, unknown on make or model.
