The first Robbery occurred on Friday, November 16, 2001 at approximately 9:00 P.M., at Young's Market in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County. The second occurred on Friday, December 7, 2001 at 9:20 P.M., at the Strawberry Family Restaurant in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County. The other two occurred at video stores, one in Montgomery Township, Montgomery County and the other in Richland Township, Bucks County.

Investigators reported that two armed subjects entered the locations and ordered the employees to the floor. One was armed with a sawed-off shotgun, the other a silver colored automatic pistol.
