Fugitive of Week #821

Case # 821

Unknown Burglary Suspect

Crime:   Burglary

Date of Release: June 4, 2001

PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNIDENTIFIED BURGLARY SUSPECT OR SUSPECTS.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Punxsutawney continue their investigation into two Burglaries that occurred on the evening of January 22-23, 2001.

Burglaries were reported at Best Motor Motorcycle, located along SR-119 in the Borough of Big Run and the Boot and Bulk Store, north of Big Run in Henderson Township, Jefferson County. Best Cycle Shop had several hundred dollars in cash and a handgun taken. This is the second Burglary at the Cycle Shop in the past few months. Several items of motor cross bike racing clothing were taken in the first Burglary. Although no entry was made, the Boot and Bulk Store had a window broken out.

Investigators believe that the suspect(s) used a vehicle that had been parked in the area of the Big Run War Memorial for transportation. The vehicle was a gray Chevrolet Cavalier, which was later recovered, stuck in a ditch in an alley in Big Run.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle, or the operators on the night in question, may be of assistance in the investigation and are requested to contact Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers
