The Pennsylvania State Police at New Castle continue their investigation into the August 2000, Theft at King's Jewelry Store in Union Township, Lawrence County. On August 19, 2000 at approximately 7:20 P.M. investigators reported that Deverick Duncan, along with a co-conspirator, (a light complected Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds with light brown hair and blue eyes, possibly named Mike) entered the King's Jewelry Store in Union Township. The unknown suspect kept a salesperson distracted as Duncan anxiously walked about the store. A few minutes later, the salesperson noticed that Duncan was behind a nearby counter, opening a locked case with the master key. Duncan was able to steal fifty-two white, gold and platinum women's diamond bracelets (King's manufactured) valued at approximately $60,000. When discovered, both suspects quickly fled the store in a silver colored Oldsmobile-98 with Ohio plates, registered to Duncan. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered these subjects were also in the store on August 17th and had stolen a master key to all of the jewelry cases. What You Can Do:
