 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST O THE YET UNIDENTIFIED PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF SHAMAR WILLIAM WASHINGTON. 
The Pennsylvania State Police at Bloomsburg continue their investigation into the Homicide of Shamar William Washington, commonly referred to by family and friends as "Casper".

On Saturday, January 13, 2001, hunters found the body of 17-year-old Black  male over an embankment, along a rural road in Hemlock Township, just outside of Bloomsburg in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The area where his body was found is approximately 35 miles from Williamsport. It is unknown if Washington had any ties to Bloomsburg or the surrounding area. On January 7, 2001, Washington's mother reported him missing; she had not seen or heard from him since January 2, 2001. Investigators believe Washington had been missing since January 3-4, 2001, he had been seen in the city of Williamsport up until that time.

Shamar William Washington's last known address was in the 1200 block of Vine Avenue in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was also known to frequent the Milton and Philadelphia areas.
