The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, Luzerne County Pennsylvania continues their investigation into the September 3, 2000 home invasion of an elderly couple.

At approximately 10:30 P.M., the suspects entered the residence of an elderly couple and their adult children. The unknown suspects attempted to move the family members into the same room and force them to lie down on the floor. At one point, the suspects called one of the victims by name, and they seemed to know how many people would be in the home. The suspects never said what they wanted, but investigators believe money may have been a motive. The suspects were believed to be operating a small older model silver colored vehicle.

Authorities state that an anonymous donor is offering additional reward money.
