The Pennsylvania State Police at York are seeking the identity of the individual responsible for a Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary and Theft in York County Pennsylvania. On January 17, 2000, at approximately 9:15 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a residence located along Downs Road, in Lower Chanceford Township, York County. The suspect proceeded to cut open a bedroom window screen, then opened the window to gain entry into the home. The victims were sitting in the family room when the suspect entered the room and pointed a sharp metal object at one of the victims and demanded money. The suspect also threatened to stab the victims if they did not give him money. One of the victims picked up a piano bench and told the victim to get out. The suspect ran through the kitchen and grabbed the victim's purse as he fled through the kitchen to the outside door; the suspect fled on foot into a wooded area. At the time of the crime the suspect was wearing a gray sweat jacket with a zipper and hood, black turtleneck pulled over his nose and a black knit cap.
