The
Pennsylvania State Police at Uniontown continue the search for Robert M.
Lint who is wanted for Aggravated Assault and Drug Violations. On
February 12, 2000, Lint came upon a Traffic Safety Check-Point near the
Village of Searights in Menallen Township, Fayette County Pennsylvania.
Upon approaching the check-point, Lint turned his vehicle around
and fled the scene; this prompted a police pursuit.
After the pursuit, he exited his vehicle and fled, which then led
to a foot pursuit. Lint was taken into custody with a large amount of
marijuana in his possession. During
the process of apprehension, he resisted arrest, which resulted in an
injury to the arresting officer. Robert
Lint was later able to post bail, but failed to appear for his preliminary
hearing. Robert
Lint’s last known address was in the City of Uniontown in Fayette
