The Federal Bureau of Investigation continues
their search for a yet unidentified serial Bank Robber. The unknown
suspect has victimized eleven banks since July of 1998. The most recent
Robbery occurred on April 12, 2000, at the Ephrata National Bank in
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Investigators report that the modus operandi (MO) of the suspect
remains consistent. He enters a bank, stops at the check writing station
and then approaches a teller. He presents a demand note to the teller and,
after receiving the money, exits the bank. Authorities report that the
suspect has black mustache, wears a baseball cap, sunglasses and a plaid
shirt. In three of the robberies, he wore a green baseball cap that had a
yellow "C" on the front of the hat. What You Can Do:
