AUTHORITIES STATE THE SUSPECT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS The Federal Bureau of Investigation continues their search for a serial Bank Robber. To date, some 25-banks in 4-states have fallen victim to the unknown Black male suspect. The New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio robberies began in the fall of 1998. From September 1998 through December 1999, the suspect robbed 18-banks in New Jersey beginning in Newark. In December 1999, he began robbing banks outside of New Jersey, hitting Allentown-PA, Hamburg-PA, Aberdeen-MD, Altoona-PA, Liberty-OH, and Ravenna-OH. The suspect’s latest robbery was on June 6, 2000, in Mt. Pocono, PA. Investigators state the suspect stands in line, approaches the teller window and passes a demand note. The note warns against police and alarms and that he is watching the teller’s hands; he usually takes the note back. The suspect has never spoken a word in any of the 25-bank robberies. In three robberies the suspect has displayed a handgun. What You Can Do:
