The Pennsylvania State Police at Honesdale, continue their investigation into the Arson fires that occurred in Wayne County during the month of January 2000. The Arsons occurred within a one-mile square radius of each other and two-tenths of a mile apart, on Sawmill Road, Salem Township in Wayne County Pennsylvania. The first fire occurred on January 1st, at Shaffers Saw Mill. Investigators have determined that damages to the business were in excess of $750,000.00. The second Arson occurred later that month on January 27th at Klauss Wood Working. Investigators stated that due to the extreme heat of the fire, the electrical material was completely melted away. Damages resulting from this fire also exceeded $750,000.00. What You Can Do:
