Unknown Armed Robbery Suspects

Suspect # 1

 6' 1", Race- Unknown - Medium Build, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, possibly armed with a small handgun.

Suspect # 2

 6’00" Thin build, Race- Unknown -wearing a dark colored ski mask pulled down over his face, this suspect was holding a shot gun.

Suspect # 3

 5’02" Heavier build, Race- Unknown - short black hair, with no facial hair, wearing dark clothing. This suspect went behind the counter and took the money out of the register.

 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $1,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE IDENTITY AND ARREST OF THREE YET UNKNOWN ROBBERY SUSPECTS.
 

The Kennett Square Police Department, Chester County Pennsylvania, and the Wilmington, Delaware Police Department are investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred on Friday January 28, 2000 at approximately 3:40 P.M. This robbery took place at a small Mexican food store "EL NAYARIT FOOD STORE" in the 600 block of South Union Street, Kennett Square Borough.

Three suspects entered the store and ordered about 10 patrons onto the floor. One suspect stood just inside the door and held what was believed to be a sawed off shotgun; he ordered everyone to the floor. The second suspect held what was believed to be a small handgun to the side of one of the patron’s neck. The third suspect went behind the counter and ordered the clerk to open the cash register. No one was injured and the suspects fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. Witnesses at the scene advised investigators that the suspects fled the scene in a red colored vehicle. Shortly after the robbery, a 1989 Mazda 323 with Delaware registration was found abandoned at the intersection of Kaolin Road and Roundhill Road in Kennett Square. The passenger’s door was open and the engine still running. It was positively identified as he one seen leaving the robbery scene with the three suspects and had been reported stolen from Wilmington Delaware on January 25, 2000.
