Unidentified Homicide Suspect

 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $1,000.00 THAT LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNIDENTIFIED HOMICIDE SUSPECT. 

The Pennsylvania State Police Major Case Team in conjunction with Chester County Detectives, Coatesville City Police and South Coatsville Boro Police Department continue their investigation into the homicide of Carnell "Poppie" Hooper. 

On September 28, 1999, at approximately 6:30 a.m., an unknown black male entered the residence of Carnell "Poppie" Hooper located at 105 Ash Street, Coatsville in Chester County, PA. Hooper was shot multiple times with a .38 caliber handgun and died at the scene. The suspect was seen fleeing the residence by neighbors who were awakened by the gun shots.

An autopsy performed on the victim confirmed the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators are requesting anyone with information on this crime to call Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers and help bring this fugitive to justice.
