The Pennsylvania State Police, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania - continue their investigation into an unsolved Rape and Robbery.

On December 13, 1997, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the 42 year-old victim accepted an offer for a ride home from an unknown suspect while walking along Highland Avenue in the city of New Castle.  The suspect's car was reported to be a large, older model, possibly light brown in color, Chrysler or Plymouth. According to the victim, there was no back seat in the car, it was extremely dirty, and it was littered with empty beer cans and Marlboro Cigarette packs. The suspect reportedly drove the victim to a remote location in North Beaver Township where he rapped and robbed her.
