The Erie County Office of Adult Probation and Parole are seeking the whereabouts of Roy Eldon Whetstine, Jr., in connection with a parole violation. Whetstine is a convicted felon and had been on probation regarding burglary charges when he absconded from probation and parole supervision on September 18, 1998.

Whetstine is also wanted by the Erie Police Department for a fraudulent "Cruise for Aids" scam and the Union City Police Department for Theft by Deception. Authorities state Whetstine is very charismatic and personable. His last known address was in the 300 block of West 77th Street in Erie Pennsylvania.
