Assault & Robbery Suspects
Case Facts: Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is Offering Up To a $1,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest(s) of
the two yet unidentified Robbery and Aggravated Assault suspects.
The East Lampter Township Police Department, Lancaster County, continue their
investigation into the Robbery at the Gold Exchange located in the Quality Center Shopping
Plaza along Lincoln Highway East. On Saturday, February 14, 1998, at approximately 5:03
p.m., two armed suspects entered the store, assaulted the owner and robbed him of cash and
hundreds of pieces of jewelry before fleeing. Investigators believe that the suspects may
be attempting to sell the jewelry and may be operating an older model Jeep Cherokee,
maroon or rust colored with a white stripe and graphics on the side.
Suspect # 1 Description: (shown in the surveillance photo)
Black male
5' 8" Tall
180 lbs.- Large Build
At the time of the crime he was wearing a black
leather jacket and a driving cap.
This suspect entered the store about an hour before the
robbery looked over the inventory and spoke to the owner about a gift for his girlfriend.
Suspect # 2 Description:
Black male
5' 8" Tall
150 lbs
At the time of the crime he was wearing a dark
colored jacket and a baseball hat with a white insignia resembling a "V"; both
suspects wore sunglasses.
