Case Facts: Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $ 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of a yet
unidentified Bank Robber.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Scranton, Pennsylvania, are investigating an armed
robbery at the Eynon Branch of L.A. Bank. The bank is located at 685 Route 6, Eyon,
approximately 11:22 a.m., a lone armed gunman displayed a blue steel revolver and
demanded cash. The suspect left the bank parking lot in a late model, box-style metallic
blue/gray four door sedan with a half vinyl top, possibly a Chrysler New Yorker. The
vehicle displayed an old Pennsylvania yellow plate bearing 453-JRU. The suspect was last
seen heading west, toward I-81, on Route-6 in Eynon, Pennsylvania.
Description:
50 - 55 year old white male
5' - 6" or 7"
between 150-170 lbs.
At the time the suspect was wearing a black "Lone
Ranger" or "Batman" type mask with a grey hooded zip-up sweatshirt, and
blue Dickies/Docker type pants. In addition, he was also wearing a cap with hood form the
sweatshirt pulled over his head.
