Case Facts:  Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $ 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of Melvin T. Gore.

The Upper Darby Township Police Department, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, continue their search for Melvin Gore, a.k.a. Melvin Basir, for Burglary, Robbery and intimidation of a witness. Gore was profiled by PA Crime Stoppers during November 1996, but has still managed to elude authorities. Authorities state that shortly after midnight on February 28, 1996, Gore, along with a female accomplice and two juveniles, entered an apartment in Drexel Hill where Gore beat, pistol whipped, threatened and bound the occupant. The female accomplice and two juveniles have since been arrested; Gore remains a fugitive.

He is known to carry a gun and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Black Male - 27 years of age

6' 3"

160 lbs.

Brown Eyes, Black Hair and a mustache

a.k.a Melvin Basir

Last known addresses were in the 2400 block of North 26th St., Phila., PA and 1500 Block of Montrose St., also in Philadelphia.
