Fugitive Unknown Homicide Suspect

Case Facts:
- Pennsylvania State Police,
Butler, continue their investigation into the homicide of
Mary Jean Stevenson. The victim worked at the USX Towers
in the city of Pittsburgh from 4:30 P. M. - 2: 00 A. M. , for a cleaning
service. She was last seen by her co-workers leaving USX
Towers, after her shift, between 2:45 A.M. and 3:00 A.M.
in May of 1988, a witness observed the suspect assaulting
Stevenson while forcibly moving her across the Ninth
Street Bridge in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. On June 4,
1988, the victim's badly decomposed body was discovered
in an abandoned strip mine along Stanford Road.,
Muddycreek Township., Butler County. The cause of death
was a single gunshot to the back of the head.

White
Male
Mid-Twenties
5 foot 6 inches
Light brown hair which was worn longer in the
back.
Slender Build
May have had a slight mustache at the time of
the crime.
