PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST OF THE UNKNOWN SUSPECT IN THIS CASE OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT.
The Scranton Police Department continues to search for the suspect responsible for the attack of a female victim in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
On Friday, February 6, 2009, between 12:45 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., a 44 year old female was a victim of an attempted car jacking at the Steamtown Mall parking garage, located on Lackawanna Avenue in downtown Scranton, Lackawanna County.
The suspect struck the victim in the face and whispered in her ear; stating that he wanted the victim’s vehicle. The panic alarm on the victim’s keychain was activated and the suspect fled the scene.
There is no description of the suspect other than he was wearing a Hoodie.
The victim was hospitalized; having lost five teeth and received fifty stitches as a result of the attack.
