PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST IN A CASE OF THEFT.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop A, Somerset continue to investigate a Theft that occurred in Somerset Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

On Monday, August 25, 2008, an unknown female entered the Giant Eagle, 1606 North Center Avenue, Somerset Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The suspect removed the victim's purse from her shopping cart without the victim's knowledge. Upon leaving the store, the suspect removed the wallet from the purse and threw the purse in the parking lot.

The suspect met an unknown male in the lobby of the Giant Eagle. It is unknown if they left the area on foot or in a vehicle.
