PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING AN ARREST IN THIS THEFT INVESTIGATION.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Hollidaysburg continue their investigation of Theft in Taylor Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania.

Some time between Tuesday, August 19 and Saturday, August 30, 2008, an unknown suspect(s) cut the barbed wire fence to gain access to the Penelec Substation located at SR 36 at SR 867, Taylor Township, Blair County.

Several sections of braided copper wire were taken. The loss is estimated at $10,000.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Bedford is investigating a similar incident.
