 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST IN THIS CASE OF THEFT.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Philipsburg continue their investigation into a case of Theft.
 
Sometime between midnight and 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2007, an unknown suspect(s) gained access to Penelec substation on SR 322, Philipsburg Boro, Centre County, Pennsylvania by using large bolt cutters to enter the fenced yard area.
 
Once inside, the suspect(s) removed spools of copper wire. The suspect(s) also gained entry to a boom truck belonging to Asplundh Inc., and removed copper.
 
The value of items removed was estimated at $2,100.
