The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Lewistown
Station, continue their investigation into a case of armed robbery
that occurred in McVeytown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
On Friday, August 24, 2007, at apx 2:45 a.m., a white
male entered the Minit Mart in McVeytown Borough brandishing a handgun. He
told the clerk to remove the drawer from the cash register. The
clerk complied and the suspect removed cash from the drawer.
The suspect was wearing a ball cap, dark green sweatshirt
and jeans.
He is described as having a pronounced jaw line and spoke
as if his mouth was full of something. There have also been similar
type robberies in Huntingdon and Centre Counties where the suspect was
described as having no teeth.
Investigators are not sure if the suspect actually has
a physical abnormality in his face or mouth area or if he is placing
something in his mouth to assist in concealing his identity.
