The Butler Township Police Department,
is investigating an Attempted Homicide and Robbery in Butler Township,
Butler County, Pennsylvania.
On Friday, September 7, 2007, at 9:06 p.m., the
Butler Township Police were dispatched to an armed robbery with shots
fired at the Drive Thru Beverages, located at 171 Pittsburgh Road, Butler
Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. The robbery took place at
the close of business.
The proprietor was found unconscious in the office, shot
in the abdomen. The victim regained consciousness upon treatment
by EMS and was able to give a description of the suspect. The victim
is currently in the hospital on life support.
The suspect was described as wearing blue jeans, dark
shirt/jacket, and a black ski mask. The suspect was carrying a
grey automatic handgun and a backpack.
