PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000 FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST IN THIS CASE OF ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING/CHILD LURING.
The Pennsylvania State Police, York Station continue their investigation into multiple cases of attempted Kidnapping/Child Luring.
 
On Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 4:00 p.m., in Hopewell Township, York County, Pennsylvania. A man attempted to lure a ten year old girl and a seven year old boy into his vehicle.  When the attempt failed, the suspect fled the scene.  The vehicle used in this incident was a white pick-up, construction type truck with ladder racks and possibly with ladders.  Possibly a late 90's or early 00's model.
 
On Thursday, May 31, 2007, at apx 4:40 p.m., on Country Club Road, Shrewsbury Township, York County, Pennsylvania, a man fitting the same description as the suspect in the May 29th incident, asked a sixteen year old girl if she wanted a ride.  She accepted and advised him where to take her.  When the victim attempted to get out of the truck on Waltimyer Road, the man grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her back into the truck. The girl managed to get out of the truck and the suspect fled towards New Freedom Borough.  The vehicle used in this incident was a white pick-up truck with yellow letters on the doors, also a late 90's or early 00's model.  Additionally, this suspect was described as being apx. 6'0" tall and weighing apx. 190 - 200 lbs.; having a dark tan and wearing a light or white t-shirt and dirty blue jeans.
