The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R, Dunmore and Fugitive Apprehension Unit continue their search for John Caro.
 
On Sunday, December 31, 2006, John Caro shot a female victim on SR 81, Dunmore Boro, Lackawanna County.  Mr. Caro drove a vehicle next to the victim and fired a shot into her vehicle striking her.  Mr. Caro then fled the scene.
 
Mr. Caro's last known address was 472 Hill Street, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
 
Mr. Caro is also known to frequent the Monroe County, Pennsylvania areas of Stroudsburg, Brodheadsville, and Kresgeville as well as Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.  Mr. Caro is known to frequent adult entertainment clubs and also frequents the New York City area.
