The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop P, Wyoming and the Pennsylvania State Police, Fugitive Apprehension Unit continue their search for Kern Z. Mayers.
Mr. Mayers is wanted for an incident that occurred on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the Home Depot and Burlington Coat Factory Shopping Center on Mundy Street, Wilkes Barre Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
Law enforcement authorities attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Mr. Mayers. In an attempt to flee the police, Mr. Mayers struck several vehicles and injured police officers. After a vehicle and foot pursuit, Mr. Mayers was captured. Mr. Mayers was released from the Luzerne County Correctional Facility and then failed to attend a scheduled court date on January 25, 2006.
The last known address for Mr. Kern Z. Mayers was 1273 Lincoln Plaza, Brooklyn, New York. However, Mr. Mayers is also known to frequent the areas in and around Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
