The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop A, Kiski Valley continue their investigation into a Criminal Homicide that occurred in Loyalhanna Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
On November 12, 2005, Steven Kachonik left his residence to go archery hunting in the woods near his house. Mr. Kachonik failed to return home after dark at which time a search began. Mr. Kachonik was found in the early morning hours the next day laying on the ground below his tree stand.
Through investigation, it is believed this incident was a case of Criminal Homicide.
