The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R, Dunmore, are investigating an Arson fire that occurred in Dunmore Borough, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. On Sunday, August 27, 2006, at apx. 6:00 a.m., a fire was discovered at the Dunmore Lumber Company, on South Blakely Street, Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. During the investigation it was discovered that there had been a burglary prior to the fire, and the fire appears to have been used to conceal the crime. At this same location, three weeks prior to this fire, a Burglary occurred at around the same time of day. In both incidents, a ladder from the store was used to climb over a barb wire fence. In the first Burglary, several knives uniquely decorated with outdoor scenes were stolen. What You Can Do:
