 PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD OF UP TO $2,000.00 THAT LEADS TO AN ARREST IN THESE CASES.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Lewistown are investigating a series of church burglaries that have occurred throughout Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
 
The burglaries have been occurring since January 5, 2006.  It is believed that these burglaries are related to similar incidents in Franklin, Huntingdon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Northumberland and Snyder Counties.  Additional areas may have also been affected as far Northeast as Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
 
Entry into the churches is accomplished by using a device to pry open the doors.  Possibly a 1" to 2" wide bar.
 
Items removed from the churches are electronic equipment such as sound system equipment, power point projectors, DVD players, and televisions.
 
The burglaries are occurring in the very early morning hours; possibly as late as 5:30 A.M. and usually Monday through Friday.
