The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop H, York are investigating a Burglary that occurred in Hopewell Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
On Monday, January 9, 2006 at apx. 2:30 A.M., an unknown person or persons threw a landscaping paver through the front window of the Country Roads Deli, Draco Road, Hopewell Township, York County. There were an unknown number of cigarette cartons removed. The person(s) fled the scene traveling East on New Park Road in a red passenger car.
A similar investigation continues into a burglary that occurred on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at apx. 1:45 A.M. at the Delta One Stop convenience store, Peach Bottom Township, York County. In this incident, a person or persons threw a large rock into the front window and removed cigarettes valued at over $2,500. Surveillance video revealed a male and female were involved in this incident. The vehicle used was possibly a Plymouth Neon.
