FATAL HIT AND RUN, UNKNOWN SUSPECT - COLLEGE TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
Case #1704, Fatal Hit and Run, College Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Rockview, continue their investigation of a fatal hit and run that occurred on Interstate 99 Southbound at the 72.6 mile marker, College Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
On February 12, 2013, at approximately 4:00 a.m., a female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle which left the scene after the collision. The pedestrian was Sherry Houtz, 32 year old female and mother of two children. The vehicle that struck Sherry Houtz is believed to be a passenger vehicle or light pick-up truck. There may be damage to the right front corner and back along the passenger side, windshield, passenger side windshield pillar, and passenger side wheel wells.
